Who We Are

About Stratum

An MDH-licensed radon and HVAC company in Roseville, built on one idea: measure first, then fix — and stand behind the result.

Radon is invisible — you can't see it, smell it, or taste it — and about 2 in 5 Minnesota homes test above the EPA action level. You can't fix what you haven't measured, and you shouldn't pay to fix what a proper test says is fine. That's the principle Stratum is built on.

Stratum was founded in 2026 by a team of service techs with over 40 years of combined experience servicing and supporting commercial and residential HVAC and radon mitigation contracts. One MDH-licensed team measures your home's radon level and, if it's high, installs the system that brings it down. The same discipline runs our heating and cooling work — every furnace and AC sized by a real calculation, not guessed by the square foot.

Our own crews do the work, and the people who work out the number are the people who stand behind it.

How We Work

We measure before we quote

A radon reading from a continuous monitor, or a heat-loss calculation on your actual house — before anyone recommends a system. You see the number we work from.

The price is fixed before we start

Written, itemised, and agreed before any work begins. It changes only if you approve a change in writing. No hourly meter, no surprise at the end.

One licensed team, start to finish

The people who measure are the people who mitigate or install. Nothing subcontracted — and nobody to point at if something needs putting right.

Leadership

Wale Banjoko, founder and CEO of Stratum

Founder & CEO

Wale Banjoko

Wale founded Stratum on a simple conviction: the trades that keep a home or business safe and comfortable should run on measurement, transparency, and honest pricing — not guesswork. That principle shapes everything the company does, from a radon test to a furnace install, residential or commercial.

An entrepreneur and operator, Wale has built and led businesses across automotive service and parts, logistics, and financial technology — industries where uptime, accountability, and doing right by the customer decide whether a name is trusted. He brings that operating discipline, an MBA, and a builder's instinct for systems and technology to everything Stratum takes on.

He's focused on the long game: a company with its own crews, its own standards, and room to grow into the services Minnesota homes and businesses need. Stratum is the vision he's building — and it's just getting started.

Drain Operations Lead

Elijah

Elijah runs Stratum's drain crews in the field — snaking, hydro jetting, and camera work. He's the one in the trench making sure the line comes out right, and the smile in that photo isn't staged.

“Fix it right the first time — with a smile.” That's the standard on every drain call.
